Had a great end of the year exploring the very beautiful cities of Lisbon and Porto as well as a return to the lovely Krakow and discovering Warsaw and Gdansk. New Year’s Eve saw me in Disneyland Paris for a magical start to the New Year and then headed to Bratislava – largely for a trip to the Titanic Exhibition but also to explore this gorgeous city.
May saw me in Venice, Greece and Montenegro and to unwind after all that I managed to escape for a spa break in June. July I visited the beautiful city of Saint Petersburg and then 3 weeks in Cuba. Just returned from Madeira spending a week hiking on this beautiful island and am now off to Luxembourg, Belgium and France for a crazy 10 days exploring 10 different Christmas markets! Before the end of the year I hope to spend the night in an ice hotel in Finland. Already planning South America & East Africa for next year – any suggestions gratefully received!
