Coffee, Chocolate and Sugar Cane Tour at Don Juan Plantation
This is allegedly Don Juan
The new human leg variety of coffee plant
Coffee Plant Fruit
Coffee bean is only 20% of the fruit
Then you have to take off the pulp
Then you do something else
Then your roast it
Then there it is!
The process explained again as I was much too interested in getting to the chocolate part!
Missing my Coca-Cola so glad to see a picture of one
Banana flower
Cocoa fruit
The cocoa seeds – they look so slime
And taste like slime orange
Then you ferment them – these smelt so bad – enough to put you off chocolate for life
Then you dry them and as if by magic
And magic occurs
as when you open it there is chocolate!
Grint it up and add some sugar
Add vanilla or chilli – and taste – delicious
Sugar cane
