Day Sixteen – Glacier National Park/Kamloops
Travel through Rogers Pass to reach Glacier National Park. Glacier National Park features more than 400 glaciers. We’ll stop at the visitor centre and panoramic viewpoints along the way. Drive on to Mt Revelstoke National Park. Mt. Revelstoke National Park contains part of the world’s only temperate inland rainforest. See the area on a scenic drive and, if time allows, a short hike. Our final destination is the town of Kamloops. Today’s drive covers about 360 km and takes 4.5 hours.
Kamloops, which means ‘meeting of the waters’, is situated at the confluence of the two branches of the Thompson River, near Kamloops Lake.
